Glasgow Gives
The Giving Day is now over – We are so grateful to the whole community for getting involved and showing their support.
If you would still like to support us, it’s not too late to make a gift!

On the 3rd and 4th of October 2024, the University of Glasgow will hold its second Giving Day. This is an opportunity for our entire global community to come together and celebrate what a remarkable place Glasgow is and what we can achieve when we work together!
Last Giving Day, your unwavering support helped us fund six students' dreams of a Glasgow education and provided additional hardship funds for those facing unexpected challenges. You provided 20 sports bursaries, assisting student-athletes in balancing their demanding course loads while excelling in their sports. You enhanced the student experience by funding 32 projects including Chapel Choir tours, Sign Language Cafes, and local and global outreach programmes. You also advanced medical research, giving hope for a healthier tomorrow for all.
We can’t wait to see what you achieve this year. Over the 36-hour event, we hope many of our alumni, staff, students, and friends will get involved and help ensure Glasgow remains not just one of the best universities in the world, but for the world.
There are so many ways to support Giving Day 2024. You can attend an event, share a post on social media, participate in online challenges and activities, or make a gift. We need as many people to get involved as possible.
This Giving Day we will be raising as much support as possible for: Student Support, Student Experience, and Global Health. Find out more about why these areas need your help by clicking on the campaign pages below.
We understand not everyone will be available on the day or might not want to be involved at this time. Please get in touch if you have any questions or wish to be removed from Giving Day communications.
Together #GlasgowGives - Hope, Opportunity, Inspiration, and with your support, so much more!
